Feed the Scorchpot Farmstead Guide

Use Farmsteads to turn useful Marks into ingredients, cluster production around amplifiers, and specialize only when your recipe plan can support it.

Video-tested experienceFarmstead fundamentals are taught in the tutorial; exact specialized-building yields seen in videos are not treated as permanent launch values.

Farmsteads are your raw production layer

Farmsteads sit at intersections and harvest from adjacent tiles when the relevant Marks are active. Their location therefore links three decisions: target Marks, ingredient mix and future adjacency.

Place for overlap, not one shiny tile

A strong location can cover multiple Marks your dice already produces, or share important tiles with another farmstead. This gives one good roll more ways to pay you.

Coast interaction

Tutorial footage notes that a coastal farmstead can receive fish regardless of normal dice fortune. That can be useful, but composition-restricted recipes make automatic ingredients something you must plan around.

Specialized upgrades

Full-game footage shows tier-two farmsteads that produce much more of one ingredient type while ignoring others. These are powerful when the run has already committed to a pure resource plan and weak when the shop later pushes you elsewhere.

Farmstead progression

Building more Farmstead-family structures contributes to the capacity track for additional seasons in supplied footage. More seasons buy time; they also create more opportunities to finish with spare seasons and grow Prosperity.
