Video-tested experienceTrade-post adjacency and recipe-slot progression are taught in supplied tutorial/full-game footage; live numbers should be verified in-game.

The basic role

The tutorial places a Trade Post between Farmsteads to demonstrate adjacency. It contributes cooking value and economy while the broader family advances recipe capacity.

Why touching two Farmsteads matters

A Trade Post that scales with adjacent Farmsteads gets more value from a dense cluster. Before placing one, look for intersections that can touch two productive Farmsteads without consuming the ideal spot for a Shrine or future upgrade.

Economy is part of scoring

Ducats buy recipes, buildings, dice and tools. A Trade Post that strengthens the meal and pays the shop can stabilize the early game even if its raw Fodder contribution is zero.

Recipe-slot progression

Supplied footage ties more Trade Posts to additional simultaneous recipe capacity. This is one of the strongest reasons to build the family after your initial production is stable.

Higher-tier variants

Full-game footage shows specialized tier-two Trade Posts with alternative scaling. Treat their exact numbers as a live-Codex database task, not as permanent facts copied from an old video.
